The two ways in which we will achieve this are:
Startup Curriculum - creating a startup curriculum to educate students on what a startup is, what it means to be high growth, what the different career paths are within startups, who the different players in the ecosystem are
Access - being the bridge between students and the world of startups; connecting students who want to work at startups with high growth startups, and connecting startups who want to hire junior talent with grads coming out of NZ universities.

Why we started
Kevin and Athena are two students who have seen first-hand the impact that high growth startups have on economies, communities and individuals.
Our founding presidents have both worked closely with the founders and senior executives at high growth startups in New Zealand, Australia and beyond. They are brought together by the mission of providing their peers at university with access to the world of startups.
Kevin and Athena’s background could not be more different, but they have a shared passion for driving the New Zealand startup ecosystem forward.
Together, Kevin and Athena have teamed up as Co-Founders and Co-Presidents of StartUp Club NZ, with the challenge of inspiring the next generation of future leaders to make New Zealand a happier place through the startup ecosystem!
